A 40-year-old Shaaibu Yakubu, who is a deaf teacher in
Potiskum, Yobe State, has professedly defiled a 6-month-old baby girl.
The educator was said to have been apprehended on September
1, for assaulting the minor until her digestion tracts (intestines) got devastated.
Reports which drifted on twitter throughout the weekend
under the hashtag #JusticeForHajara, had it that the offender purportedly
admitted to his wrongdoing and is being granted bail.
Then, the Commandant of Nigeria Security and Defense Corps,
NSCDC, Muhammad Gidado Fari, was cited to have said Yakubu Abdullahi, was caught
by men of the NSCDC for purportedly raping the infant in the Potiskum territory
of Yobe state, noticing that the deaf instructor professedly schemed with his
10-year-old student, who conveyed the infant to him from her neighbor's home
and he raped her.
According to Fari despite the fact that Abdullahi denied the
claim, the 10-year-old pupil distinguished him in a crowd picture of staff and students
taken in the school, including that the suspected attacker was captured after a
non-governmental association, National Council of Women Society, NCWS, reported
the circumstance to the corps.
Fari however expressed that the matter had been accounted
for to the state's Ministry of Justice for indictment as the case required an
expert in gesture based communication to decipher.
Further speaking, the President of NCWS, Halima Kyari Joda,
on her Twitter handle said the infant was taken to the University of Maiduguri
Teaching Hospital for examination and appropriate treatment.

Nigerian Police Force, NPF, for supposedly allowing bail to the suspected
rapist.
When the news got to Nigerians that the police had granted
the alleged rapist bail to move freely, they took a swipe at the entire
Nigerian Police Force for such a step.
