British government urges all Muslim clerics (imams) to preach in English in order to ensure a level playing ground for all

UK government orders Muslim clerics to preach in English

In a bid to give everyone a level playing ground and create a peaceful coexistence in the Britain, the Prime Minister, Theresa May has advised all Muslim leaders (imams) to preach in English language.

This was disclosed as one her party’s manifesto tagged “integration strategy” in order to bolster cohesion within Britain and promised to create a “Commission for Countering Extremism”.

The move to make Britain free from any form of extremism was first launched by the PM, while serving as the Home Secretary during the era of David Cameron as Prime Minister, when ISIS began their terrorist activities.

The idea for such a directive for all to speak English is to ensure that “no artificial barriers being put up to people being able fully to feel that they are part of their local community”.

Speaking to the Telegraph, she said: “Obviously the ability to speak English is an important part of that because if you don’t speak English well then you will be less likely to be able to participate in general things that other people do, like speaking to your GP and speaking to your children’s teachers.”

Mrs May claimed increasing the number of language courses on offer, encouraging imams to preach in English and helping women get into work would all boost social integration within Britain.

This measure is also seen as way of controlling net migration, as the government reiterates its readiness to reduce net migration to the “tens of thousands” in the Tory manifesto earlier last week.

However, speaking on BBC’s Newsnight, Sir Michael said: "We haven't set out a formulation of how much it will reduce by each year, what we have set out is our ambition to continue to bear down on immigration.

"It's an ambition, and we have had it in previous manifestos."

Face up to on how much the cost of cutting immigration would be, Sir Michael further said: "There has been various academic work done on the cost of immigration.

"We have made it clear we accept there is a cost and we want to make sure that British companies do contribute to the training of British workers when they want to fill that post."

Jubilation as more than 40 Fulani Muslims converts to Christianity in Nigeria

Fulanis convert to Christianity

Joy unspeakable as over 400 Fulani Muslims surrender their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in Nigeria have been encouraged to be steadfast and preach the gospel peace to their kindred, so that the incessant violence in the country could be brought under control.

The advice was made by Reverend Copper Sebok, who is the head of COCIN Church Panyam after the end of three days fasting and prayers on Sunday which was organised for all the new Fulani converts from denominations across Nigeria.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the sole aim of the conference was to awaken the need for preaching to their fellow brothers and sisters all over Nigeria.

“The conference is also a re-union service for all Fulani converts regardless of their denominations and to share experiences and encourage one another in the propagation of the gospel of peace.

“It is a concept of COCIN 43 years ago, and to debunk the notion that Fulani’s are nomadic and can’t be reached with the gospel of Christ.’’

In his sermon, read from Matt 9: 35-38, the clergy said man must have compassion on the unsaved to draw them to Christ for eternal salvation.

The clergy man criticised the rate in which crises are keep brewing in the country which brings about the loss of lives properties.

Rev. Hassan Mohammed, speaking on behalf of the converts, expressed appreciation to God for giving them a new lease of life as Christians.

He disclosed that the conference was an eye opener for them to go and proclaim the gospel not only to their kindred but to all nations, as commanded by Jesus Christ.

“We have a total of seven Fulani people ordained Reverends beside other Pastors and Evangelists and we are doing our best to enlighten our brothers and sisters about Christianity,’’ Mohammed said.

He thanked the organizers of the conference and appealed to both Christians and Muslim to continue to pray for the peace of the country.

Current report released by a charity organisation has shown the increasing rate of Christians facing persecution

Christian persecutions

Due to the twin bombing that took place last week, the UK government has put in more effort to boost security at the headquarters of the Coptic Church.

According to a recent data released by a charity organisation, Christians being persecuted daily has increased in the last four years. From the report, it was revealed that every month, about 322 Christians are being persecuted, 214 churches burnt down along with other forms of violence reported to be 772.

From available data, it was shown that a minimum of 44 people died in the twin church bombings of Coptic churches on Palm Sunday in Egypt.

Though, the Bishop of the Coptic Church in the UK has come out to announce that, there has not been any threat against the church, even though the procedures are being put in place as a way of reassuring the people.

He said: "I've heard lots of words. I've heard concern, I've heard anxious, I've even heard angry but I haven't heard the word fearful from anyone - I don't think it's part of our DNA.

"We are peaceful, we are loving, we are sacrificial, we are forgiving, and yet we still remain a target and I suppose it's just a cross we continue to carry."

Amir Michaeel is a Coptic Christian and like many others he struggles to understand why his faith is such a target overseas.

"In a way it can be like, because we are not retaliating, we are a weaker target and we are easy prey," he said.

"But at the same time I feel like there is something profoundly difficult about attacking someone who is not retaliating.

"For someone to turn the other cheek and for you to feel okay to hit them, I feel like it would take something quite inhumane to do something Iike that."

There is a general perception that the media, and the West, has in recent years largely ignored attacks on Christians in some parts of the world.

Tim Stanley, journalist for the Daily Telegraph, wrote on the subject and told Sky News that people are too afraid to call it "a war".

He said: "Some Western governments are legitimately worried about appearing to validate the narrative of the Islamists that this is about Islam versus Christianity, so they don't want to talk about the persecution of Christians and I get that.

"The problem is that's exactly what is actually happening. Moreover, I fear that some of that is political correctness."

British Prime Minister raises morals of the British people to express their Christian faith at any point in time

Theresa May on Easter

As part of her Easter goodwill message to the United Kingdom, Theresa May has admonished the nation to be “be confident” about the important role Christianity plays in British life.

The PM remembered how she was brought up as a Christian from childhood during her Easter message the British people and made emphasis on how people should feel free to talk about what they believe in: “And that absolutely includes their faith in Christ.”

She said: “This Easter I think of those values that we share, values that I learnt in my own childhood, growing up in a vicarage.

“Values of compassion, community, citizenship. The sense of obligation we have to one another.

“These are values we all hold in common, and values that are visibly lived out every day by Christians, as well as by people of other faiths or none. We should be confident about the role that Christianity has to play in the lives of people in our country.

“And we should treasure the strong tradition that we have in this country of religious tolerance and freedom of speech.

“We must continue to ensure that people feel able to speak about their faith, and that absolutely includes their faith in Christ.”

She also went a little further to make reference to persecuted Christians, saying we should be “mindful of Christians and religious minorities around the world who do not enjoy these same freedoms but who practise their religion in secret and often in fear”.

The PM’s message came as last week hundreds of Christians celebrated Palm Sunday in burned-out churches in the Iraqi towns of Qaraqosh and Karamles near Mosul that were recently liberated from Islamic State.

To date, the displaced Christians haven’t been able to go back to their places of worship since being forced to flee in August 2014.

Mrs May also called on the nation to give full support to Brexit in the video message, which was released on YouTube by Downing Street.

She said: “This year, after a period of intense debate over the right future for our country, there is a sense that people are coming together and uniting behind the opportunities that lie ahead.

“For at heart, this country is one great union of people and nations with a proud history and a bright future. And as we face the opportunities ahead of us – the opportunities that stem from our decision to leave the European Union and embrace the world – our shared interests, our shared ambitions, and above all our shared values can, and must, bring us together.”

Also speaking about Easter, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn called on people to use the values at the heart of Christianity to overcome society’s problems.

The Labour leader said: “We hear painful stories every day, of homelessness, poverty or crisis in our health service or across the world, of the devastating consequences of war and conflict, including millions forced to become refugees.

“We need to respond to these problems head on, through action and support for social justice, peace and reconciliation.”

A minimum of 20 worshippers of Sufi Shrine have been confirmed dead in Pakistan

Death in Pakistani shrine

It has been confirmed by the Pakistanis police authority that not less than 20 people were tortured and killed as a Sufi shrine by the custodian of the shrine.

Investigation revealed that the shrine worshippers were invited to pay a visit by the shrine’s custodian who with the support of other accomplices perpetuated the dastardly act.

Deputy commissioner Liaqat Ali Chattha narrated that "As they kept arriving, they were torturing and murdering them."

Most of the victims were hit on the back of the head in the incident in Sargodha, Punjab province.

During investigations, the 50-year-old custodian, Abdul Waheed, confessed to the murders, claiming he feared the victims had wanted to kill him, said regional police chief Zulfiqar Hameed.

According to Mr Hameed the suspect seemed to be mentally unsound however another motive could be rivalry for control of the shrine.

Local police station chief Shamshir Joya said the victims, whose clothes were torn and bloodstained, appeared to have been given intoxicants.

He added: "We suspect that the victims had been given some intoxicants before they were murdered, but we will wait for a forensics report to confirm this suspicion."

Meanwhile a doctor at a Sargodha hospital, Pervaiz Haider, said: "There are bruises and wounds inflicted by a club and dagger on the bodies of victims."

Four people were wounded in the incident.

It was with the help of a woman who managed to escape for her dare life that gave a hint to the police, after which, officers were deployed to the scence and got Waheed alongside several others.

Mr Joya said the shrine was built about two-and-a-half years ago and when its former custodian died, Waheed, who was once an employee of the national election commission, took over.

A South American village in tumult after a voodoo doll possessed over 30 members of the community

Voodoo doll attack villagers

Tumult as evil spirit sacks a community after over 30 members of the village are reportedly being 'possessed by the devil ' after discovering a voodoo doll.

There is a rumour going on in the community that doll with cross marked across face is liable for the sickness - which has led many to believe they are haunted by evil spirits.

Thus, residents living in Santa Tomas, close to Waspan, in the south of Nicaragua, are said to be suffering from grisi siknis (translated into English as 'crazy sickness').

Grisi siknis is a culture-bound condition that most frequently distresses communities in Central America.

The contagious syndrome often exhibits symptoms such as nausea, anxiety, dizziness, irrational anger and fear, as well as periods of 'rapid frenzy'.

Surprisingly, people suffering with grisi siknis also have visions of spirits and demons. And each time a person is 'possessed', they name the next victim of the disease.

Though there seem to be a woman living in the community called Marisella, who has offered to give some help to her neighbours by making local remedies to ‘cure’ the disorder.

She creates medicines, which are poured across the back of the affected villager in the hope that it will ward off the evil spirits.

After studying the disease further, Marisella said she believes that she has found the cause - a small voodoo doll.

While speaking to Central America media, she stated that: "A doll with black ribbon and a cross marked on its face [has been found in a street].

"It suggests that it's affected by dark spells and bad influences. A type of bad spirit."

The villagers have now decided to burn the doll.

Why do Muslims always run to Christian countries? Katie Hoptkins

Katie Hopkins

Finally President Donald Trump travel ban on some Muslim countries defended by Katie Hopkins, as she narrates the reason behind the influx of Muslims in Christian countries.

Hopkins lambasted all those fighting against the President’s executive order against seven major Muslim nations. This was disclosed on Fox News after the Appeal Court halted the ban saying: “I’m with Trump all the way and I think one of the interesting things here [the UK] is the amount of support amongst the Muslim community as well [that] we don’t really hear about very much.

“But they can see what he’s trying to do, he’s trying to say ‘I will defend our borders, I will give America strong borders’ and that’s something we can really relate to.”

Hopkins said it was the Islam being a “divisive religion” which led those in the Muslim world wanting to “flea” to the West.

She said: “One of the questions I’ve been asking in my column and on the radio is if Islam’s so fantastic why is it that Muslims always seem to want to come and flee to Christian countries?

“And it’s a question that doesn't get asked a lot but it’s one that’s an interesting question to ask.

“And a lot of Muslims have been saying it’s because Islam is such a divisive religion, so I think we understand the travel ban.”

Hopkins then compared the US court hearing to the Article 50 case in the UK after saying Donald Trump’s travel ban was “reassuring”.

“I think if you look at Western Europe, you look at Nice, you look at Brussels, you look at the chaos that’s being caused by terrorists – it’s reassuring to see someone finally trying to do something about it.

“And I think he’s being frustrated in the courts in the same way that we had Brexit… when they tried to tell us we couldn’t have what we voted for.”

Witchcraft in the Church Pulpit as a South African pastor tempts God by giving his congregation rat poison to drink just to prove they cannot die

South African pastor give members rat poison

No wonder Jesus Christ said not all who say Lord, Lord will enter into the Kingdom of God. He said by their fruits ye shall know them.

Some people seem to have dead conscience as it appears they do not feel any guilt calling or using the name of the Lord in vain any more. As if that is not even enough, some go as far as tempting the Almighty God.

Here is a ‘priest’ who deceitfully gave members of his congregation rat poison wanting to prove to them that they cannot die.

The blind followers of this so called ‘priest’ known as Light Monyeki from Soshanguve, South Africa, took it upon himself to prove his followers were superhuman and immortal, with a seriously dangerous feat.

Before administering the rat poison the congregation, he announced to them not to be afraid of death, and went forward to pour the rat poison into their mouths.

According to him:

We do not need to proclaim faith because we are believers. Death has no power over us.

Frighteningly, many of his followers ran forward to take a fatal drink from the treacherous bottle.

The priest took a mouthful from the poison fluid before pouring it down the throats of his loyal congregation.

Catastrophically, yet predictably, the members of his church who foolishly took the poison began to grumble of stomach pains and by the evening, five of them were wretchedly dead.

A further 13 more were taken to hospital for the ingestion of the lethal drink, but despite all of this Monyeki allegedly denied responsibility.

Instead he announced:

Too much of any good thing could be bad.

Surely he’s not referring to his poison drink as a ‘good thing,’ as one cannot not see how this could be possible in any way considering it killed five of his members…

The horrendous incident has sparked a police investigation, but no arrests have been made at present.

This is extremely dangerous and beyond stupid.

It’s sad to think his followers put so much faith and trust in him, rather than the Almighty God and discarding his evil tendencies which ultimately cost them their lives…

Trump is indeed an agent of positive change, as he vows to abrogate the law prohibiting the church from actively participating in politics

Trump

It is becoming glaring each day that in every generation, the Almighty God raises people to raise his banner to the nations. Currently in the United States President Donald Trump seem to be the one God has raised to make the make its input in governance again.

President Trump on Thursday declared his resolve to reverse a law which prohibits churches which have tax-exempt from making political speech. The gesture has been highly welcomed by the Christian community in the US.

According to President Trump his regime is poised to abrogate in its totality the Johnson Amendment which placed a prohibition on churches from taking part in political activity.

So far, under existing law if any tax-exempt church endorse political candidate or take part in political activity, they will lose their tax-exempt status. Though repealing the law will require the approval of the by Congress.

The president used the interaction with religious leaders to also defend his immigration policy, and pushed aside apprehension about his tough phone conversations with foreign leaders, and also made mockery of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Speaking further, President Trump stated emphatically that “I will get rid of and totally destroy the Johnson Amendment and allow our representatives of faith to speak freely and without fear of retribution.”

Also, in address to the National Prayer Breakfast, he encouraged the people not to bother about the report going round about the tempestuous phone chat with leaders of Australia and Mexico, that a hard method was long overdue.

He said “when you hear about the tough phone calls, don’t worry,”

“We’re being taken advantage of by countries around the world. It’s time for us to be a little tough. It’s not going to happen anymore.”

Apostle Johnson Suleiman interrogated and released by the DSS

Apostle Johnson

Outspoken General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry Apostle Johnson Suleiman who was summoned by the DSS was on Monday interrogated by the security agents after he honoured the invitation sent him the DSS, and was asked to go home after the three hours chat with the service.

The clergy man was invited for interrogation after he allegedly made some inciting statements calling on Christians to stand and defend themselves in the event of any attack by any Fulani herdsman, since both federal and state governments cannot defend the people any more.

Apostle Suleiman was being cheered by members of his church, friends, family members and some pastors from his church while leaving the DSS office.

After his release, he wrote in his Facebook page, saying: “Jesus is Lord.”

Church of England stand firm for marriage as instituted by God, as it rejects gay marriage

Church of England

In the beginning God created Adam and Eve, and not Adam and Steve. Thus, against all odds, Church of England in keeping to God’s original plan for man as it concerns marriage has vehemently rejected the calls to permit same-sex marriage.

According to the House of Bishops, there is “little support for changing the Church of England’s teaching on marriage” that it is between one man and one woman.

A new account, following two years of internal debate, does however say the church needs to adopt a “fresh tone and culture of welcome and support”.

Also, Rt. Rev Graham James, Bishop of Norwich admonish the body of Christ (church) not to “adapt its doctrine to the fashions of any particular time”.

“We hope the tone and register of this report will help to commend it, though we recognise it will be challenging reading for some,” said Rev James, who will present the report to the General Synod on 15 February.

“This is no last word on this subject. For there are very different views on same-sex relationships within the church, and within the house of bishops, mainly based on different understandings of how to read scripture.”

The report, entitled Marriage and Same Sex Relationships after the Shared Conversations, suggests new teachings on marriage and relationships should be drawn up to replace those introduced in the 1990s.

The Marriage (Same-Sex Couples) Act was passed for England and Wales in 2013 and came into force the following year.

The same House of Bishops report has been criticised for adopting a “don’t ask, don’t tell” stance on gay clergy – a reference to the former US military policy.

BREAKING: Buhari now intimidating any pastor who opposes killing of Christians in Nigeria by Fulani men, as Governor Fayose stops DSS from arresting Apostle Suleman Johnson

Apostle Suleman Johnson

In a desperate move to Islamise Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has been silent without taking the security of lives and properties of communities, churches and Christian lives being destroyed by his kinsmen. Rather, he only reluctantly make some rhetoric after receiving huge media condemnation. Thus forcing the affected Christian communities to wanting to resort to self-defence.

As a result of the massive killing being carried out against Christians, especially in Southern Kaduna, where both the President and state governor have refused to take pro-active measures to safeguard the lives of the people in the affected community, a famous and outspoken clergyman, in the person of Apostle Suleman was alleged to have Christians not to fold their hands anymore while those blood thirsty Fulani men kill them.

Surprisingly, instead the government will go after those armed Fulani/Islamic fanatics, they rather deployed heavily armed security men to go and arrest a man does not have any hand in the killings, simply because he told Christians to stand up and defend themselves against further killings by the President’s kinsmen.

But for the intervention of Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, in the early hours of Wednesday, who allegedly averted agents of the Department of State Services (DSS) from capturing Apostle Johnson Suleman of The Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, in Ado Ekiti.

The Pastor, who was in Ado-Ekiti for a two-day campaign, was asserted to have lectured against Fulani herdsmen by requesting his members to kill any speculated herders they find close him or his congregation recently in Auchi, Edo State. It was assembled that Suleman was trailed to his inn room by the agents of the DSS in Adebayo area of the state capital, in the wake of paying a courtesy visit on the governor at the Government House.

The DSS agents who practically constrained their way into the inn, it was assembled, were likewise said to have been opposed by security men of the lodging who demanded knowing their central goal.

The pastor was said to have alarmed Governor Fayose to inform him of the sudden advancement.

Thus, Fayose by and by drove a save mission to keep the DSS from leaving with the minister by taking him to safety.

Talking onn the advancement, Pastor Suleman says, “I received several calls from hidden numbers trying to locate where I am and I had warned my security not to allow any Fulani man to come nearer me. So when the men of DSS came in the middle of the night I knew their mission and I had to call the Governor because if they arrest me, they will put this country in fire.”

Governor Fayose communicated his stun over the advancement. He noticed that as opposed to coming about to such Gestapo-like capture, the DSS could have effortlessly welcomed the godly man in the event that they have anything against him:

In the expressions of the governor, “If they have any issue with him instead of arresting him in the dead of the night after a powerful and spirit-filled crusade in my state.

“I personally attended his crusade and I think it is wrong for a man of God who is armless that could be invited if they have any issue against him. Are Christians and Moslems under different dispensation of the rule of law? . That’s why I went there to rescue him. Let them kill two of us together.

“But when they saw my vehicles and the crowd, they fled. “But we have information that instructions came from DSS in Abuja that the Pastor should be arrested. We are not in a fascist state, Federal Government must learn to respect the rights of Nigerians and freedom of expression.”

Furthermore, the governor said that badgering of men of God is a perilous pattern in the nation since religion is an unpredictable issue government ought to be careful about.

He, subsequently, forewarned security agents against terrorizing and capture of righteous men in light of a legitimate concern for peace and religious agreement in the nation.

HE proceeded with, “This is unacceptable, we are in a democracy and Nigerians should warn the Presidency against putting this country on fire because religion is an emotional thing.”

Nigeria fast becoming an Islamic nation under president Buhari as Umar Musa Yar’Adua University bans all Christian organisations except Islamic organisations

Islamising Nigeria

Nigeria is possibly heading towards full Islamisation that appears to be having the boost needed under the Buhari’s administration. This is because despite all the gruesome killings being perpetuated by the so called Fulani herdsmen who are under the leadership of President Buhari as their patron, massive killings in Southern Kaduna, with the president beingso reluctant to react proactively against such, but only when the media and Christian leaders lambasts the government that most times some sort of media condemnation is heard from the Presidency with little or no concrete actions to back up such verbal condemnations.

Muslim students have their mosques being operated freely without any hiccups in the South, but report reaching us has it that the authorities of the Umar Musa Yar'Adua University, Katsina, Katsina State, have banned whatever other religious or tribal relationship on grounds other than the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria. Yet these people keep saying we are ‘one Nigeria’ not minding the fact that Nigeria is a circular state where anybody is free to practice is religion no matter where we find ourselves

The university’s pro tem Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Sulaiman Kankara, passed on the new mandate to every one of understudies' clubs and affiliations that were working on grounds by means of an inward update dated January 17, 2017.

A duplicate of the reminder, acquired by one of the Punch Newspaper, was inscribed, "Re: Registration of Students Clubs/Associations."

Sulaiman said the new order was a piece of the resolutions of the establishment's administration at its 59th meeting, that was held on January 10, 2017.

The reminder read partially, “The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria is the only religious association allowed to operate in the university.

“All tribal and local government associations are prohibited by the university.

“Duly registered departmental associations should be allowed to operate, but they should observe item (I) above.”

In any case, sources inside the institution told The PUNCH that the new order is probably not going to evoke any response from the students when the organization continues new scholarly academic session on January 30, 2017.

"The college has never shrouded its stance to be an Islamic establishment, in spite of the way that it is an open organization," one of the sources said.

“The university has never hidden its posture to be an Islamic institution, despite the fact that it is a public institution,”

SOUTH AFRICA: A woman testifies how her pastor’s shoe healed her v*gina warts

South African Pastor

It is no more an unusual thing to hear pastors from various churches claiming to perform incredible miracles. Though Jesus Christ said if we believe in him, the works that he did we will also do and even much more than he did.

However, he also said expressly that not all that casts out devils are his disciples and that not all who say Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of God.

A pastor in South Africa took things to another level, when he claimed to have healed a lady’s ‘v*gina warts’ with his shoe.

Strange videotape shows Zendile Andries November seen asking a woman in his congregation about the 'pimples'.

The Victorious Faith Ministries pastor - who also claims he can cure Aids with the power of prayer - then took off his shoe and hands to the woman, who places it between her thighs. And later fell down with the shoe still stationed between her thighs.

Surprisingly, after the lady in question visited the bathroom, a friend of hers came proclaiming that the lady’s has been healed supernaturally.

The pastor later told South African newspaper The Times: "The woman came to me about pimples on her vagina. This made it impossible for her to sleep with her husband.

"Because the problem was on her private part I decided to use the shoe. I believe in miracles and God uses anything to heal."

He claimed: "I also cured a lot of people of HIV/Aids‚ immediately after praying for them I ask them to go to the nearest clinic and test. Most of them come back negative‚ and those that are positive I encourage them to have faith and continue to pray for them.

"I specialise in deliverance for those who are demon possessed‚ spiritual husbands and diseases.”

Governor El-Rufai is behind the killing of Christians in Kaduna State -CAN

El-Rufai

Leaders and members of the apex Christian organisations known as the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) have blamed the governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai over the continues massacre of Christians in his State.

The accusation were issued out through the Secretary of CAN in the Northern region, Dr. Joseph also known as Ajujungwa, South-East CAN Chairman, Most. Rev. Prof. David Eberechukwu saying that governor El-Rufai is responsible for the gruesome killing of several Christians in the state.

The duo accused the governor of failing to protect the people whom he swore to while taking oath of office as a governor.

“The nonsensical killings in the Southern Kaduna cannot be justified in whatever way and as such the CAN is holding Governor El-Rufai responsible for the murderous activities of Fulani herdsmen in the area.

“How can the Chief security officer of the State watch Christians die in their number even at a time he placed curfew on them? This is why we hold him responsible for the killings.

“It is even more surprising that at this point when we should be talking of solutions, some Muslim groups are busy attacking Christian leaders and calling for their arrest merely because they spoke out against these barbaric killings.

“The Governors in the Southern region made concerted efforts, which saw to the end of the violent activities of these herdsmen but in the case of Kaduna State, El-Rufai’s body language is questionable”, they noted.

It was further supposed by CAN that the development was “a subtle way to kill all the Christians in Kaduna State. We have seen it as a way of using the Fulanii herdsmen to destroy the Christian foundation in Kaduna and Nigeria in general.

Thus, calling on President Muhammadu Buhari “to quickly intervene in the on-going killings by taking decisive action before the situation gets out of control.

“We want to make it clear that no matter the level of intimidation, the CAN would not fold its hands and watch this atrocity continue. We won’t be coerced into keeping quiet while our members are being mowed down in thousands.

“We, therefore, call on Christians and the good people of Nigeria to be vigilant and watchful so that these herdsmen will not take them unawares any longer.”

Fayose to Buhari: God will cut off all the hands manipulating and killing the body of Christ (the Church) in Nigeria

Ayodele Fayose

Again Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose blasts the Buhari led federal government for intentionally enacting legislations that affects the smooth administration of churches in operating in Nigeria. The said that the recent law was what forced the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye to resign as the head of RCCG in Nigeria.

It was predicted that the legislation which made Adeboye to step aside, would soon be extended to other church leaders like, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Odukoya of Mountain of Fire and Miracles etc.

The governor also used the medium to warn the government to be careful with their interference in the administration of churches in the country, in order to avoid curses befalling them.

The warning released by the governor was made amid the 53rd birthday thanksgiving servise of his dear wife, which took place at the governor office chapel, in the state capital, stating that: “There is one thing every government must not do, the moment you face the church of God, you will fail. The God of Adeboye, Kumuyi will bring down all the enemies in this government.

”Somebody must tell them, there are certain things you don’t do. They are going from frying pan to fire.

“This government wants to subdue the church, God will subdue them. They are ridiculing leaders of the church, God will rubbish them. The same church they had deceived to get power, they are saying that we now have the ring, who will remove it from our hand, the Lord will cut off the hand that wears the ring.”

“APC is behaving this way, but God is the creator of the ring and the hand, God will amputate the hand.”

Ayo Fayose is anointed of God.

“I have warned and I’m still warning, take your hands away from the administration of churches, you are killing Christians, the Lord will rise against you. By rising against the church, this government has failed. As anyone that rises against God will fail. By using Laws against the church, they have started to crumble.”

” Christians are being slaughtered in Southern Kaduna and noble men cannot talk because of fear of incarceration. Remember you are here today, tomorrow you would not be here again. We must condemn what is happening here today, ” said governor Fayose.

Also in her speech, Mrs. Fayose said she stopped praying to God to remove her husband’s heart from politics when God revealed to her in 2006 that He needed him (Fayose) in Nigeria. She said to her husband: “The Lord will reward, He will stand by you. You are going higher and I’ll be beside. I’ll still remain the same person. God has said it and it will never fail.

” When I was praying to God to remove politics in my husband’s heart. God told me in 2006. He said leave that man, I need him in Nigeria. I ask when and how and when but he said don’t ask me. God indeed is really watching over me. I want to be praising God and to be watching my enemies falling, and all haters of Fayose and his govt falling.

“Note this, I prophesize this year that many things, governments, kingdoms, conspiracies will be torn tear so many things this year, because of Ekiti State and Fayose, be on God’s side so that you’ll not be torn.”

More Nigerians condemn APC for attacking Pastor E.A. Adeboye

Pastor E.A. Adeboye

More condemnation hits the ruling All Progressive Congress for their unguarded comments against the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye for his honest commendation made to the governor of Ekiti State, Governor Ayodele Fayose.

The latest knock against the APC is coming from one of the Area Pastors of the Church, Pastor Bola Bolawale as he condemned the attack of the G.O. by the APC.

According to a released he made on Monday titled, ‘APC’s scurrilous attack on Adeboye’, the Area Pastor revealed what led to the visit of Pastor Adeboye to Fayose and what emerged at the meeting.

Read below details of the press release:

“Pastor Enoch Adeboye makes whistle stops at tens of Let’s Go A-Fishing venues. This December’s itinerary recently saw Pastor Adeboye criss-crossing towns and villages in Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti states, among others. At Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, the governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, and the traditional ruler, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, were among the dignitaries that received Pastor Adeboye.

“As is characteristic of him, Adeboye prayed for Fayose, who had knelt down before him for prayer. Fayose is not the first Nigerian VIP to have so coveted Adeboye’s prayers. Presidents and other governors had done so, including former President Goodluck Jonathan and the current President, Muhammadu Buhari. Outside our shores, the immediate past Prime Minister of Britain, David Cameron, attended an RCCG programme in London and came forward to be prayed for by Pastor Adeboye.

“However, the prayers that Adeboye said for Fayose has drawn the ire of the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Mr. Jide Awe. Awe not only blew his top but also threw caution to the winds, making highfalutin statements, levelling unsubstantiated allegations, and calling the revered Pastor names that must alarm every right-thinking person.

“Whereas I am an Area Pastor in the RCCG, it need be stated that the views expressed here are entirely mine and by no means represent those of Adeboye and or of the authorities of the RCCG. And I enjoy the guarantees and protection of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and other extant laws.

“First, a recap of Adeboye’s prayers for Fayose as was reported in the media: ‘We thank God for your courage, for your boldness. We thank God for your being willing to take risks so that your people can be protected. You have been a governor who knows when to say ‘enough is enough’ in defence of his people. And I am sure you know what I am talking about and I am sure the world knows.

‘I don’t want to say more than that but be assured that we are praying for you and you will succeed in Jesus name. We wish all other governors who stand for their people, who defend their people and who know when to say ‘enough is enough’, success. We thank God for their life”. I wasn’t there but I suspect that the entire congregation must have chorused “Amen”!

“For this prayer said not only for Fayose but also for all governors who live up to their oath of office to stand up in defence of their people, Awe accused Adeboye of supporting what he called Fayose’s persistent insults on Buhari. Awe also tried to drive a wedge between the RCCG members and the pastor we all lovingly call “Daddy G. O.”

“He alleged that Fayose must have bribed Adeboye since, according to him, the Ekiti governor was capable of bribing angels. So, Awe had seen angels receive bribes before – in what currency, he only is in the best position to say! He then attempted to set the family of the late founder of the RCCG, Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, against Adeboye by asking them to caution the pastor so he would not, in his myopic reasoning, tarnish the legacy of their father.

“However hard they try to conceal the truth, it will be out; so did Awe finally expose himself when he expressed the wish that Adeboye ought to be a supporter of the ruling APC since Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is a senior pastor in RCCG!

“Awe’s statement has done incalculable damage to the APC. He was uncouth. He brought no finesse to bear at all. He must have thought he was engaged in the usual banality between politicians where they trade abuses and insults and retire afterwards to throw banters; plot new assaults; and pick the next target.

“The APC owes itself a world of good to do damage control by disowning the said Awe and his scurrilous statements; otherwise, it will pay a heavy price for this down the road. Adeboye did not in the least deserve the assault on him by the Ekiti APC chairman. For one, many eminent Nigerians, spiritual and temporal, have made more damning statements about the state of affairs of the country.

“For another, Adeboye only spoke the truth: whether we like it or not, Fayose is the recognised face of the Nigerian opposition today and the voice of the voiceless. This is a fact which Adeboye merely recognised. He did not create it. Coincidentally, the wobbling APC government created the situation that Fayose is exploiting to the hilt.

“Fayose is not the only one who could have taken advantage of the situation but up to this point, he is the only one doing so. And it is un-Christianly to deny a man his due. Awe must be told in clear and unmistakeable terms that he cannot drive a wedge between Pastor Adeboye and the RCCG members. He also cannot engineer any disaffection between the Akindayomis and Adeboye”.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) blasts Buhari for making Emefiele head of Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation

Emefiele

With the current development in Nigeria ever since President Buhari took over power, it is becoming apparent that the subtle move to islamise the country is gradually coming to actualisation under Buhari who is a well-known advocate of Islam.

On Thursday, the apex Christian organisation in Nigeria, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) released a statement condemning the appointment of the governor of Nigeria’s central bank as leader of the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation (IILMC).

While speaking, the Association’s president, Samson Ayokunle, condemned and described such an appointment unconstitutional and not welcomed by the Nigerian people, thus making it null and void.

CAN explained that the government’s decision to accept the appointment amounted to denouncing Nigeria as a secular state, in negation of section 10 of the 1999 constitution.

“There have been reports that the IILMC recently appointed the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele as its Chairman during its 17th Governing Board meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia.

“Section 10 states that The Government of the Federation or a State shall not adopt any religion as State Religion. This action by Nigeria’s government is in clear negation of the constitution, especially this section,” the statement said.

Recall that earlier on CAN had accused the government of planning to make the country an Islamic state.

“What is Nigeria doing in Islamic and Shariah compliant organization? Who authorized the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria to join this organization? What provision of our constitution supports our membership of a religious association as a secular state?

“When did the National Assembly pass the law to do away with our secular status? When did our Constitution change to allow this alliance that seems to portray Nigeria as Islamic? Is the National Assembly aware of all the treaties regarding these Islamic organizations to which Nigeria is now a member?

“Do we need to repeat our concern that almost all the heads of security paramilitary agencies in Nigeria today are Muslims as if Christians have become second class citizens or rather lack competent officers to be in charge! Has Nigeria become an Islamic state?,” CAN queried.
“This is not the Nigeria dreamt of by our founding fathers and it is high time the government woke up to its constitutional responsibilities.

“Christians have equal rights with our Muslim counterparts since the 1999 Constitution recognizes the multiplicity of religions and we will no longer pretend as if all is well with Nigeria.

“Let it be stressed here that we love our Muslim brothers and sisters in this nation and we are aware that we cannot do without one another.

“However, we need to drum it loud to the ears of this present administration to always consider our plural state in terms of ethnicity and religion and ensure balance not only on the issue of appointments but on other issues which would continue to portray the government as being partisan towards one particular religion.”

Mr. Emefiele was delegated pioneer of the IILMC on December 15 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As expressed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, on its site, "IILMC is a global foundation built up by central banks' fiscal powers and multilateral associations to make and issue transient Shari'ah-consistent money related instruments to encourage successful cross-fringe Islamic liquidity administration. By making more liquid Shari'ah-consistent money related markets for foundations offering Islamic financial services (IIFS), the IILMC means to improve cross-border speculation streams, global linkages and monetary dependability.

The body's significant orders incorporate building up a vigorous Islamic liquidity administration as an impetus for cross-border monetary linkages and encouraging compelling cross-border liquidity administration instruments for foundations that offers Islamic money related arrangement.

Let Sharia be eliminated if Muslims do not want Christian Court in Nigeria - CAN

CAN Secretary

The General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Musa Asake, has stated that Muslims have no right to kick against a proposed bill to establish Christian courts across Nigeria.

The fight against the establishment of a Christian Court by the Muslim community is a clear indication that there is no religious tolerance in the country, irrespective of the hypocritical acknowledgement of some Muslim leaders we are all one Nigeria.

So far, The House of Representatives on Tuesday in Abuja passed for second reading, a bill to arrange for for the establishment of the Church Court of Appeal in the country.

Subsequent to the development, many persons, especially the Muslim have community kicked against it.

However, in a swift reaction to the attacks and criticisms trailing the bill, Asake stated that if the Muslims were not comfortable with the bill, they should also abolish Shariah.

On why they want to establish Christian court, the CAN scribe told Punch that, “We have tolerated them enough. People should choose their words wisely. The ecclesiastical courts have nothing to do with them. They should make room for peace. Fulani herdsmen have been maiming and killing our people.

“When we cry out, what we hear is that those herdsmen are foreigners. We are left with no one to cry to. All we can do right now is to cry out to our God. If those people are foreigners and are allowed to carry AK-47 rifles and kill people who are citizens of the country, what does that tell you about those in charge of this country? I forgive whoever thinks the proposed bill to have Christian courts established across the country is a stupid idea.

“Why didn’t they stop the implementation of Shariah? Why are they trying to force Shariah on people who are not Muslims? If they want to stop the ecclesiastical courts, then they should let the Shariah laws and courts be abolished,” he added.
