Katie, a support worker for patients with mental health issues, bought a bright pink, puffy dress with netting underneath for £125.

Katie, who also has a son, Cassius, four, said: “Now she can walk, but I normally take her on stage because she's only young.

“She smiles and waves and wobbles about on the stage. If she feels up to it she’ll dance, she’ll move around to the music and blows kisses.”

But while she said Autumn loves strutting about in the glamorous outfits, the hobby has attracted some criticism.

Katie said: “I know some people don’t like the make-up and hairpieces, and I don’t either, but it’s each to their own.”

Despite receiving harsh messages online, Katie has vowed to allow Autumn to take part in pageants as long as she enjoys it.

“I’ll keep doing pageants until it’s clear she doesn’t like them, we’re not harming anyone,” she said.

The glamorous lifestyle has now become part of her everyday life, as the tiny tot has a wardrobe to rival adults.

“I definitely treat her like a princess, she wears bonnets and dresses and hats,” Katie explained.

“She never wears leggings, she wore jeans once, but I won’t have her in trousers.

“Everyone always asks how can she move in the pageant dresses, but she’s fine, she’s just learnt to move in them.

“She gets lots of attention when we’re out and about because she looks so sweet. We always get people coming over and looking at her.”

Katie splashed out £1,000 on Autumn’s clothes for Christmas, updating her wardrobe with 20 new outfits.

But while she loves to dance on stage, Autumn is a tomboy at heart.

Katie continued: “She’s always dancing about, but she’s quite a tomboy.

“She plays with her toys and dolls, but she also loves her brother’s Marvel figures and dinosaurs.”

The green mamba was escorted by the police, as it was being transported to Scottish SPCA animal centre in Drumoak. Though, the snake was later euthanised.

According the SSPCA, there was no close anti-venom here in Scotland, as the nearest was held in London, thus the snake was destroyed for among health and safety worries.

Also it was confirmed by specialists that its bite can be deadly within the space of 30 minutes.

The western green mamba feeds on small animals and rodents and is mainly found in the coastal tropical rainforests of western Africa.
