A reverend father in Anambra State was allegedly burnt in
his girl's house by a cooking gas fire while relaxing in the one-room apartment
at Allen Avenue, Awka.
According to a source, the priest’s alleged lover died
instantly, while the priest sustained serious burnt and had been flown abroad
for medical attention.
One of the source said: “I have told them to stop covering
this story. What do they want to achieve by hiding this story? The truth should
be said and shame the devil.”
However, another source, who would not want to be named,
said, “The priest was involved in the gas fire accident trying to save a life.
All these side talks are not unnecessary.”
