Jungle justice given to man 32 as Xmas and New Year gifts for raping a 13-year-old girl

A 32-year-old man (paedophile) known as Afolanya met his waterloo last Monday after some angry mobs gave him the beating of his life, and was stripped naked after being  caught raping a 13-year-old girl, in an horrible scene that took place at Iddo-Babora village, beside Airport road, Abuja.

It was reported that the culprit enticed the little girl with some form of gift and made her to follow him to his room where the heinous act took place.

Daily Trust reported that a source whose identity is given as Ishaku Musa, narrated how the culprit (taxi driver) too undue advantage of the innocent girl while on an errand for her mum.

 Musa stated that, “after the mother had waited for hours without seeing her daughter, she decided to look around when neighbour told her that her child was seen entering the accused’s room.

“The mother rushed home to inform one of her sons who immediately went to the accused’s room where he caught him in the act with the girl and raised an alarm.

“The girl’s father who travelled for the Christmas was called on phone by the son, and he directed that the girl be taken to a clinic for test to confirm if the accused defiled her.

“In fact, the man was beaten to a state of coma, even as he denied that he only made an attempt when the girl’s brother came and forced the door open,” Musa added, noting that the accused was later taken away by some policemen from Iddo police outpost, who came with their patrol vehicle about 40 minutes later.

A police officer with the Iddo police outpost, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the incident.

He said the suspect had been detained and investigation was still on after which he will be charged to court.
