Amazing how an infant lived alone with her mom's carcass for
no less than three days in South Africa.
According to sources, Twenty-seven-year-old Natasja Nel was
discovered ‘dark and decomposing’ in her level after a relative came to keep an
eye on she and her daughter. It was also revealed that Natasja hadn't responded
to any telephone call in two days.
Unfortunately to the infant daughter, she never knew her mum
was dead over three days ago, as she told the relative: "Mummy was sleeping
and didn’t want to wake up".
The sad incident occurred in the Sinoville zone of the South
African capital of Pretoria - as indicated by The Mirror. Police have evidently
said that the infant child is unharmed, in spite of the reality she was
separated from everyone else for three days.
Local media reported that, a neighbour said: "A family
member started to suspect something was wrong after she had not heard from
Natasja.
"She drove to her house and found the body in one of
the rooms.
"Her skin had apparently already turned black, a sign
that the body was starting to decompose."
It was also added that the infant was confused: "She
could not understand what was going on and just said, 'Mummy is sleeping. She
does not want to wake up'."
Police is somehow believing that Natasja may have died after
suffering from an epileptic fit, nonetheless, an autopsy will reveal the exact
cause of death.
