There was a little drama at a Magistrate Court in Oredo,
Benin City when suspect aged 18 excreted publicly on himself.
Also, report has it that the suspect, Abdullahi Muhammed’s
case was to be called that he acted the drama which paved way for him to take
to his heels, as everybody was in confusion.
But luck ran out of him when Sergeant Aignochie Iruonagbe
requested other police officers present to give him some helping hand. After he
was re-arrested, the police gave him sachets of water to clean up before he was
arraigned again.
According to the prosecutor, Muhammed’s offence was that on
the 8 day of October he stole 4 cartons of milk from a woman named Mrs. Favour
Nwachukwu, which is a punishable offence according to Section 390 (4) of the
criminal code
Accordingly, Muhammed without much ado pleaded guilty to the
offence. While the magistrate presiding over the case, adjourned it to October
14 for sentencing.
