ZOMBIE: suspect eats victim's flesh after murder

FLORIDA – A couple turn out to be the latest sufferers of a ‘zombie murder’, after they were found dead by police with the alleged assailant eating one their faces.

The couples who are suspected to be either in their late 40s or early 50s were murdered in Martin Country, Florida.

According to report, emergency number was called by the couple’s neighbour after being wounded with serious injuries sustained while trying to arbitrate in the situation

The suspect who according to the police is a 23-year-old Austin Michael Moore, bent over the husband’s body in the couple’s driveway, while the body of his wife was exposed in the garage

According to theMartin County Sheriff's Office: "The suspect was biting and removing pieces of the victims face with his teeth. The deputy tried to remove the suspect, using a stun gun, but it had no effect.

"A K-9 arrived, biting the suspect, but was still unable to get him off the victim. MCSO says deputies were eventually able to pry the suspect off and take him into custody."

As at press time, it was yet to ascertain the rationale behind the murder, whether the suspect knew the victims previously or not. Though it is also suspected that the suspect might done that under the influence of drugs.

The attack according to report is reminiscent of the 2012 Miami cannibal attack in which a naked male assailant named Rudy Eugene attacked and gruesomely maimed homeless man Ronald Poppo underneath a tram bridge crossing the MacArthur Causeway in Miami, Florida.
