NIGERIANS AWAITS BUHARI'S COMMENT ON THE FIGHT BETWEEN HAUSA AND YORUBA BOYS IN LAGOS

Lagos riot between Hausa and Yoruba boys

Nigerians are yet to hear any Southerner killing Northerners in the any Hausa land, but right from inception, all what people hear is either Christians are being persecuted and killed in the North, churches burnt, or those from the Southern part of Northern Nigeria are being killed for no cogent reason.

As if that is not enough, these blood suckers  are now spreading their evil acts to the doorsteps of the Southerners in such a provocative manner that if care is not taken may lead to another civil war in the country, which analyst say may be far worse than the civil war of the 60s.

Just on Tuesday one Mr Ojo was allegedly stabbed to death by an Hausa boy, while he was on his way home. This led to serious violent actions where sophisticated weapons were used unhindered by hoodlums.

This led to a shoot-out between area boys and some officials of the Nigerian Custom Service at White Sand community in Ijora Badia area of Lagos State, which according to report, led to the death of three persons, while so many persons were injured.

The fight between the Hausa and Yoruba boys led to the demolition of several houses and shops. According to sources, the Yoruba boys stated that, these Hausa boys have been terrorising the area and making life uncomfortable for other residents.

However, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Dolapo Badmus, a Superintendent of Police said confirmed to journalists that contrary to the rumour, only one person was found dead, while the other two are recovering in the hospital.
In her statement she said, “The community and the police were on a joint operation of raiding black spots within the community and arresting suspected criminals yesterday.

“In the process, some officers of the Nigerian Customs Service officers, who were with officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, had an encounter with some of the hoodlums.

“They fired some shots and three people were hit. As a result, one death was recorded, while two others are receiving treatment in the hospital. Policemen are not involved.”

In the meantime, residents maintained three persons died. The PPRO said that will be determined upon completion of investigation.

Surprisingly, in all of these, President Buhari who is quick to condemn violent attacks in other countries has not made any strong statement yet. It so laughable when he even offered to help a strong country like Germany, yet, he has not been able to do anything to curtail this in his doorstep.
