Amazing how no one noticed the error on the British flag during the Rio 2016 Olympic

British flag at the Olympics
Rio Olympics, as captivating as it seemed to be, was practically a major fucking fiasco from the very beginning, would it say it wasn't? Green pools, fake thefts, real burglaries and some genuine wounds.

All in all, would it be a good idea for us to try and be amazed that they figured out how to mess up the Team GB banner? Each one of the 67 decorations they got - including an amazing 27 golds - was gathered under the wrong banner.

As indicated by Gizmodo, Graham Bartram, who's the principal vexillologist (no, I don't know either) at The Flag Institute, was watching the recreations when he really wanted to notice that the white slanting stripes aren't sufficiently thick. He's made a little picture here to give you a superior thought, however fundamentally the white stripes are for the St Andrew's Cross, so should be as thick as they are on that banner.

Presently, it's not a monstrous distinction, but it’s still wrong and it additionally implied that the Australian, Fijian and Tuvaluan banners weren't right, albeit New Zealand's was fine for reasons unknown.

Furthermore, to exacerbate matters even, it appears just as it will not be right for the Paralympics, as well. Graham's done his bit by telling the sorting out board of trustees yet so far nobody has even been tried to hit him up. Brazen mongrels.

FOOTBALL: Rooney tops chat in England

Rooney

Wayne Rooney turned into England's most topped outfield player when he was honoured his 116th top by new administrator Sam Allardyce in Sunday's opening 2018 World Cup qualifier away to Slovakia.

Team leader Rooney, 30, surpasses his previous England partner David Beckham, who was topped 115 times by his nation.

Goalkeeper Peter Shilton, topped 125 times, holds the general record.

“I think it is always important and an honour to represent your country,” Rooney said on the eve of the game in Trnava.

“To do it the second-most times will be great, but tomorrow (Sunday) is about the team, about getting three points.

“I’m sure one day in the future I will look back, but for now I’m looking to the game tomorrow and nothing else.”tomorrow and that's it."

Rooney is likewise England's record goal scorer with 53 goals, having beaten Bobby Charlton's old record of 49 in September 2015.

Of course, the Manchester United captain was chosen in a number 10 role behind Harry Kane as England started life under Allardyce.

Allardyce assumed control from Roy Hodgson, who ventured down as director taking after England's mortifying last 16 rout by Iceland at Euro 2016.

Dalung fantastically condemned, as kits arrived 3 days to the end of Rio 2016

Rio Team Nigeria

Team Nigeria managed to take delivery of their long awaited Olympic kits, just 3 days to the end of the 2016 Summer Olympics, after most of the nation’s athletes had already concluded their events, while some had gone back to their various bases. Thus, the kits will no longer serve their purpose, as tax payers money has been wasted on them already.

According to a source from the Athletics Federation of Nigeria: “I have never experienced this in my years in sports. Money meant for the Games was held tightly by ministry officials and they were just releasing money piecemeal. We had to buy kits on our own while some athletes competed in their personal kits.”

One could recall how Team Nigeria participated in the match past with their warm-up track suits, during the opening ceremony, as according to the Ministry of Sports, the official uniform could not arrive on time for the ceremony.

This act of gross negligence which resulted into an embarrassing situation has attracted a lot of condemnation from Nigerians within and outside the country. As if that was not enough, the so called sports minister in the person of Solomon Dalung, defended his wolf failure in his saying that even South African representatives at the Olympics appeared in their track suits at the opening ceremony.

One then ask, why do our public office holders always degrade themselves by swiftly using failed scenarios from other countries who are even better than them in so many instances to justify their incompetence, but will never emulate the areas of success of same countries to improve on themselves?

Usain Bolt

RIO 2016 – Again Usain proves to the world that him being world best was never by chance, as he defended his 100m Olympic medal, as he finished in 9.81 seconds to win another gold medal on Monday, against Justin Gatlin who got silver with finishing time of 9.89 seconds, while Andre de Grasse got the bronze medal with 9.91 seconds.

Bolt victory on Monday has added to London 2012 and Beijing 2008 to his Olympic 100m gold medal list.

Contending in his final Olympics ahead of his intended retirement after next year’s World Championships in London, Bolt told the BBC: “I’m really happy but I expected to go faster. I’m just happy that I won and that’s the key thing.

“After the semi-final I felt extremely good. I wanted to run faster but with the turnaround time, we normally have two hours, but we had one hour 20 minutes, it was challenging. This is what we train for. I told you guys I was going to do it. Stay tuned, two more to go.”
