Buhari has failed Nigerians fantastically - Hussaini Mairiga

Buhari disappoints Nigerians

Gradually, the bitter truth other members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) have refused to tell Nigerians are gradually being told by some patriotic citizens of the nation, who have put their lives on the line to protect our hard earned democracy.

The latest is coming from a on the chieftain of the party, who is also a chairman of the party in Kano State, Hussaini Mairiga, when he called President a total failure for his inability to deliver the dividends of democracy for the past one year that he has been in power.

While speaking with journalists in Kano, he said “from the looks of things President Buhari has betrayed the confidence of the Nigerian masses who voted for him massively into power.”

He lamented that, the reality is now very obvious that so many family members in Nigeria cannot make boast of a square meal ever since this administration came into power. While others have because shame abandoned their entire family to take cover elsewhere.

He cited an instance where a bag of rice now sell for as high as N16,000, as if that is not enough, the prices of other essential commodities are also on the increase daily. Lamenting how surprisingly it is to see such sharp increase in prices at a time when the ordinary man cannot even afford the least meal on his table.

The APC leader also stated with dismay that virtually all the presidential aids including Ministers none ever told the president the truth about the realities on ground.

Thus, used the medium to remind the President of the various campaign promises he made to Nigerians, and that the level of poverty is inexplicable in the land.

The APC Chairman advised the president to stop deceiving Nigerians that the nation had no money whereas on monthly basis the federal and states governments continued to enjoy boost in their allocations.

He also warned that if crucial steps were not taken to address the current situation in the country, Nigerians would soon begin to die of hunger on the streets.
