Pastor E.A. Adeboye is a well-respected man the globally,
who does not compromise his integrity for any individual nor organisation, no
matter how highly placed or significant that person or organisation may be. Thus,
he irrespective of what anyone thinks, the man of went beyond politics to
commend governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State for defending his people, which
did not go down well with the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has depicted
the announcement credited to the State director of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr Jide Awe, vilifying the individual and
picture of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG),
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye as an exhibit of the underhanded mentality of the
gathering and stature of political guile, saying; denying the announcement was
an unimportant untimely idea.
The PDP noticed that Pastor Adeboye complimenting the State
Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, for the governor's strength and readiness to
safeguard his kin and the reason for the normal man in the nation was an
announcement of certainty.
Representative of the PDP in the State, Mr Jackson Adebayo,
in an announcement on Monday, said; it is the height of crude politics for the
APC to insinuate that a man of God of Pastor Adeboye’s standing took bribe to
commend Governor Fayose for what is obvious.
He said; “Pastor Adeboye is a respected man of God. He is
not a politician. He only said what he saw about Governor Fayose and the only
Nigerians, who won’t want to accept the fact that the governor has stoutly
defended Ekiti people and the common people of Nigeria, are those in the APC.”
Mr Adebayo, who depicted the reply, issued late on Sunday,
by the APC Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun as a reconsideration,
included that; “The APC in Ekiti State has strong history of political
intolerance such that anyone that is not with them must be condemned at all
cost.
