A fish which weighs over 80 pounds put a 33-year-old Jerry
Masterson into confusion who was one of the anglers on a rented vessel when he
discovered items that were beyond his comprehension.
The objects were seen when he started cleaning the fish, Mr
Masterson said: “My first reaction was one of disgust because there was a
terrible smell of decomposing meat coming from the fish’s stomach.
“Inside the fish’s stomach was an awful sight….there was no mistaking
I was looking at a man’s penis and testicles.
“I’ve been operating fishing charters for 20 years and I’ve
seen some strange things but nothing like this.”
One anonymous source narrated to the Florida Sun Post that
it was possibly a “murder victim (dumped off Tampa Bay) and the fish could have
eaten his genitals.”
Whichever way, Mr Masterson stated he will “definitely be
nervous the next time I fillet a fish.”
