The man (Michael Disporto Jr.) aged 22 was charged with
first degree murder and first degree sexual assault according to Camden County
prosecutors.
While the mother of the child, Amber Bobo, 26 was also
arraigned for second-degree endangering child’s welfare.
According to investigations carried out, it was revealed
that Bobo noticed injuries on the girl at her Gloucester home and suggested
taking her to the hospital, but failed to take urgent action for up to seven
hours because Disporto waved her off.
Authorities say the girl died on Tuesday from blunt force
trauma to the head.
According to a GoFundMe page entitled Angels for Ariana, the
girl’s father dropped the toddler off with her mother and less than a day later
she was taken to the hospital.
