Ondo State under tension as the Nigerian Police resort to violent protests after Saturday's election after being used and dumped.
A few men of the Nigeria Police Force on Monday morning went
on rampage in Ondo town, Ondo State, challenging non-payment of their last
Saturday governorship election stipend.
The policemen trooped out to Fagun road in Ondo town
chanting different war tunes to kick against the way they were dealt with
after the governorship decision.
The situation brought about movement logjam in the locality.
All attempts to talk with the dissenters were not fruitful
as they were beating writers who were attempting to talk with them and
inhabitants who needed to take photos of the challenge.
