There was a pandemonium in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory when a commercial sex worker, known as Blessing Olili attacked a man erroneously as a run away customer.
The man whose name is given as Onuma Kalu dragged the lady before a Grade 1 Area Court sitting in Karmo, said he had never met Olili prior to the incident.
The prosecutor, A.Z. Dalhatu, speaking before the presding judge Abubakar Sadiq, stated that on June 25, 2016 Mr. Kalu laid a complaint at Ukato police station that he was assaulted by Olili at Krystal Lounge Night Club, Wuse II.
Sadiq stated that the commercial sex worker had earlier claimed that, last year the complainant picked her for a night stand for an agreed sum of N25,000 but he ran away without fulfilling the agreement.
Thus, on the Friday 24 June, the accused mistaken Mr. Kalu as the run away customer.
After assaulting the man, Olili made a demand for him to pay for the service she rendered to him, however, the man insisted he had never had any contact with her for any reason.
The commercial sex worker was later charged for alleged criminal assault and deformation of character, but pleaded not guilty.
The accused was granted bail in the sum of N50,000 by the presiding judge.
