A pair of Indian twins drown in a washing machine

It so ridiculous how a mother’s negligence sent a pair of twins aged three (3) died after they fall into a washing machine, as their mum was away from the house.

Source has it that the twins were found with heads down in the tumbler, might have got themselves drowned in what early investigations suggest to be an accident.

The victims whose names are Laksh and Neeshu, who were seen at their home in New Delhi by their mum after she came back 6 minutes after she went to buy washing powder from a grocery store in the neighbourhood.

While speaking, the mum of the twins said she filled up the machine with water and piled up cloths close to it before going to buy the washing powder.

According to reports, when she discovered her children missing, Rakhi alerted her husband,  Ravinder, who came home to help her search for the children, discovering them lying head down in the water.

The children were taken to Jaipur Holden Hospital in Rohini where they were declared dead due to drowning.

A police officer said: ‘It is possible that the children tried to peep in out of inquisitiveness but we are probing how they managed to climb to a height from which they could fall into the tumbler.’
