The United States President elect and business mogul, Donald
Trump has once again reiterated that his pledge to deport about three million
illegal immigrants out of America.
Amid CBS’s 60 minutes media chat, Trump emphasised that: "What
we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal
records, gang members, drug dealers, probably two million, it could be even
three million - we are getting them out of our country or we are going to
incarcerate."
With respect to the wall he promised to erect between the
U.S. and Mexico, during his presidential campaign, he stated that, it might
necessarily not be totally made up of bricks and mortar, though he said
physical wall is more suitable in some places.
He stated that "there could be some fencing."
He included: "But (for) certain areas, a wall is more appropriate.
I'm very good at this - it's called construction."
Nevertheless, the leader of the Republican party in the
House of Representatives, Paul Ryan, is apparently having a different view from
Trump, when he said to CNN that: "We are not planning on erecting a
deportation force.
"I think we should put people's minds at ease."
Consequently, Mr Trump said he would "think about
it" when asked whether he would appoint a special prosecutor to look at
Hillary Clinton's email use.
In another development, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani
has suggested Mr Trump put his businesses in a blind trust.
"He should basically take himself out of it, and just
be a passive participant in the sense that he has no decision-making, no
involvement," Mr Giuliani said, adding that it would be "for the good
of the country".
