Obanikoro returns to Nigerian at last

Obanikoro

Finally, the much talked about ex-Minister of States for Defence under former President Jonathan has decided to return from his overseas trip. Upon his arrival, he has decided to go straight to clear himself of corruption allegations levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

While away  from the country, some operatives of the of the Department of State Services (DSS) invaded his Ikoyi home and arrested his wife, as they could not get hold of him.

In their desperate bid to make sure he is indicted, they resorted to thorough search of his house, say that during the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti State, he siphoned hundreds of millions through the airport in Akure on Governor Fayose’s behalf.

But in a swift reaction, Obanikoro while condemning the activities of the EFCC, made a strong demand for the immediate release of his wife as it was an act which violates her fundamental rights.

The total amount he is being accused of by the EFCC is about N1.2 billion naira which was made through the bank account of his son.
