Gareth Bale
has finally concurred to terms on another six-year contract with Real Madrid,
which binds him to the La Liga club until 2022, 8when he will be 31.
The Welsh
winger, who was named this week for the Ballon d'Or, joined Madrid in a
world-record move from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
He has gone
ahead to score 62 goals in 130 features for Los Blancos, winning two Champions
League crowns and the 2013/14 Copa del Rey.
As per
Guardian, Bale will be paid £350,000 every week after assessment – with a
buyout provision set at €1 billion (£900m) – thus making him the best-paid
player at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Cristiano
Ronaldo, who allegedly paid £288,000 every week, is said to arrange new
contract terms himself, be that as it may, and is required to be the club's top
worker again before the end of 2016.
“Real Madrid
CF and Gareth Bale have agreed to the extension of the player’s contract, which
is linked to the club until 30 June 2022,” a short articulation discharged on
Real's legitimate site read.
