Police have issued a request for data concerning why a
chicken was seen crossing the street in Dundee.
The appeal came as officers were called to East Marketgait
in the city at 08:30 after reports of the chicken "giving passing motorists
cause for concern".
The chicken was followed by officers and taken to a police post,
with the SSPCA got to watch over it.
The police is attempting to follow the flying creature's
proprietor, and is making frantic appeal for any data about the episode.
According to online networking reports up to three formally
dressed officers were seen pursuing the chicken.
