Tears as toddler dies of suffocation in a bean bag chair at daycare

It was a very sad moment for the family members of Leonardo as instead of holding a festival Saturday for what might have been Leonardo Sanchez's second birthday, his family will hold a memorial service. The baby kicked the bucket Thursday in the wake of choking under a bean sack seat at a West Jordan childcare focus.

In a disaster that unfurled in a matter of minutes, the kid crept underneath the bean pack seat before a worker sat in the seat, not knowing the kid was underneath.

Though It is still misty why the worker did not see the child.

“I’m just confused,” the child’s mother, Danielle Sanchez, told KSL. “I’m so confused on how you don’t know where my kid is. How do you not feel him? How do you not hear him scream?”

According to her, the police advised her the worker sat on the seat for a few minutes and read to other kids. The kid choked underneath the seat and was found oblivious.

“I’m supposed to be planning his birthday party for next week and now I’m planning his funeral,” Danielle Sanchez, said in tears Friday. said in tears Friday.

So far ‘A GoFundMe page’ has been made by a family companion to help with memorial service costs. As of Tuesday, $3,685 had been raised.

"His Mom, father and 3 kin are devastated by the loss of their great looking, sweet child kid," the page peruses.

Also, another GoFundMe page made for the family had gathered $6,625 in gifts by Tuesday morning.

The following statements were made available by the management at the West Jordan Child Centre via a lawyer on Friday

“We regret deeply the tragic death of a young toddler at our daycare facility. No words adequately describe the depth of the sorrow we feel. And, of course, we do not pretend to understand how devastating this is for the family. We know the family well, we grieve with them, and we pray that God will provide them the comfort and peace they inevitably will need.”
