A 35-year-old Narges Shafeirad from Maryland finally confesses and pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for giving her 5-year-old son a deadly overdose of antihistamine before setting ablaze her car while the boy was inside last year.
An autopsy revealed Daniel died of a Diphenhydramine
overdose in June 2015 after prosecutors say his mother forced him to swallow
medication containing the antihistamine.
The prosecutors further stated that the boy’s mother
(Shafeirad) thereafter attempted to stage a devastation after she had put Daniel’s
body inside the car, drenching it fuel and finally set the car ablaze near a Montgomery
County highway.
According to sources, at the time, the mother (Shafeirad)
had been going through a divorce and custody battle with her husband.
