Basic Combat Fitness Test - in which he had to walk eight miles in two hours
with 25kg on his back.

Scotland, was aged 26 and served in the Rifles regiment.
According his grandfather John Craig said: "He was a
beautiful grandson.
"He was a dedicated soldier. He always wanted to be top

"He was a superfit boy, he kept very fit."
According to Sky News, the fitness test on roads around
Brecon had been part of pre-course training for the Platoon Sergeants' Battle
