It has been revealed why the Niger Delta Avengers are so
hard to apprehend. According to a security source he said “have you asked the
question why these hoodlums successfully attack oil installations close to
military houseboats without being caught?
He further stressed that the militants planted the devices
strategically in their chosen areas of attack and ignite them at will long
after leaving the targeted area.
According to him, “These device are reactive substances that
contain explosive energies, which produces an explosion when released.”
